Arizona's Professional FireFighters Do More Than Fight Fires
Home Page

Arizona's Professional FireFighters do more than answer fire calls.

Each year, the Professional FireFighters of Arizona raise over $1 million and volunteer thousands of hours to local nonprofit organizations and charitable causes.

More than 6,000 Arizona Firefighters respond to their communities' calls evrery day. Many of those calls come from charities needing an extra push to get through a frigid winter or sweltering summer. Some calls come from families needing food or shelter during those tough times. Other calls come as a result of devastating tragedies such as home fires and child drownings.

In addition to fire safety and prevention programs, other community causes that FireFighters support include:

  •  Burn Camps
  •  Baby vaccinations
  •  Pool fence programs
  •  CPR and swim classes
  •  Bicycle helmet programs
  •  Food banks
  • Special Olympics
  •  Muscular Dystrophy
  •  United Way
  •  Holiday toy drives
