Arizona's Professional FireFighters Do More Than Fight Fires
About Us

HELP ARIZONA's PROFESSIONAL FIREFIGHTERS ANSWER THE CALL

Each year, the Professional FireFighters of Arizona raise over $1 million and volunteer thousands of hours to nonprofit and charitable causes in our local community. In fact, more than 6,000 Arizona firefighters respond to their communities’ calls each day.

Many of those calls come from charities or groups like the United Way, Special Olympics and Muscular Dystrophy, who might need an extra push to get through a frigid winter or sweltering summer. Some calls come from families needing food and shelter during tough times or from food banks who serve needing families.

Other calls come from communities who want  help with baby vaccinations, pool fences, bicycle helmets and children’s car seats. And some calls result from devastating tragedies such as home fires and child drownings.

The need to help those less fortunate – or those helping those in need – doesn’t  diminish because of a recession, it just gets greater with less income.  As members of our communities as well as firefighters, we feel compelled to help.

So this fall, the Professional Firefighters of Arizona is launching a statewide public service effort inviting YOU to help us Answer the Call during these unprecedented economic times.  The promotional programs are designed to connect Arizonans with Firefighters’ efforts…because we’re involved in a lot but there’s a lot more to do.

We’re asking everyone in Arizona to help your Arizona firefighters Answer the Call  They can always use your help.  Become more involved in community service. If you can, donate just one hour a week to area hospitals, animal or homeless shelters, or food banks.

These times are challenging all communities large and small, and it’s fundamental that we all chip in and help our neighbors.  We encourage you to help us Answer the Call.
